* About the Writer *

Welcome!  I’m Summer, and this is my blog.

As a young girl, I thought words could change the world. I’ve since learned they can because they’ve changed mine :)

On this blog I write about my spiritual discoveries with God, people, relationships, encouragement, struggles, and things I find inspiring & funny!  I share my thoughts to encourage people that our lives are much better when we pursue God’s design for us.

Favorite writing topics:

Improving our world and honoring God every day by applying His plan, not the misguided plan of our ever-changing, messed up world.

I struggled for years before recognizing that life by God’s design is marked with blessing, peace, joy and contentment, for me and the people around me. His plan – as laid out in Scripture – brings life and health into every area we allow it.  When applied, His truth breaks every unhealthy dynamic created by our world and our poor choices.

My dislikes:

“Every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God” (2 Cor 10:5) – which prevents true relationship with Him & others. I’ve contributed enough in this department and hope to inspire others to lead better lives.

My hope for every reader:

To see each of us living in joy, harmony, and the freedom to experience true friendship with God and each other.  Wouldn’t life be amazing?!

I write with a purpose.

I hope people experience the Father’s love in my writing.  I hope Jesus shines through my words, and I hope my blog brings healing and wisdom to your journey just like His word has brought to mine.
